Strength Society is a strength and conditioning gym located on the Upper West Side of New York City. We offer personal training, small group classes, open gym memberships, and related fitness services.

Waivers and forms. Information submitted through liability waivers, assumption of risk forms, registration forms, surveys, or contact forms.

Communication information. Messages you send us by email, website forms, Instagram, SMS, or other communication channels.

Website and analytics information. Basic website usage information, such as pages visited, device information, browser type, cookies, and similar technologies, if enabled on our website.

We may use your information to:

  • Manage memberships, bookings, classes, and personal training sessions.
  • Process payments, invoices, discounts, and account updates.
  • Communicate with you about your membership, schedule, class changes, promotions, or important gym updates.

4. Third-party platforms and service providers

Strength Society may use trusted third-party platforms to operate parts of the business, including booking systems, payment processors, email tools, website hosting, analytics platforms, and marketing tools.

For example, we may use Mindbody to help manage bookings, memberships, payments, and client accounts. When you use Mindbody or another third-party platform, their own privacy policy may also apply.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These steps may include administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as limited access to client records, secure platforms, password-protected systems, and responsible internal handling of information.

No digital system is completely risk-free, but we work to keep your information secure and handled with care.

6. Marketing communications

We may contact you by email, SMS, or other channels to share important updates, promotions, class information, membership offers, or community news.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us directly.

Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send essential communications related to your membership, payments, bookings, safety, or account.

7. Photos, videos, and social media

From time to time, Strength Society may capture photos or videos inside the gym for community, marketing, or social media purposes.

When possible, we will ask for consent before using identifiable images of clients in promotional materials. If you appear in a photo or video and would like us to remove it from our owned channels, contact us at strengthsociety.frontdesk@gmail.com.

Please note that we may not be able to remove content that has already been shared, reposted, downloaded, or stored by third parties outside of our control.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, manage memberships, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and protect the safety and rights of Strength Society, our clients, and our team.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.

Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to request:

  • Deletion of certain personal information, when legally possible.
